Do I need experience to become a Pilates instructor in Ireland?

No prior teaching experience is needed. Image Pilates accepts complete beginners who have practised Pilates and have a passion for movement. The programme takes you from foundation to fully qualified.

Is the Image Pilates course REPs Ireland accredited?

Yes. The mat Pilates certification is REPs Ireland accredited at EQF Level 4 and EHFA recognised, making it one of the most respected Pilates qualifications in Ireland.

How long does the Pilates instructor course take?

The mat Pilates certification (The Cert) takes 5–11 weeks depending on your preferred format — in-person every second Saturday, online Tuesday/Thursday evenings, or an intensive weekend format.

Where are the Pilates courses held in Ireland?

Courses run in Dublin (Swords Academy + The Vault Health Club, Tallaght), Cork (FLYEfit Cork City), Galway (HQ Gym, Tuam), and fully online.
